Well I had a lovely Mothers Day with my 4 children – the chocolates I got given didn’t last long and neither did the prosecco to be honest 🙊 I also have a beautiful array of handmade cards on the fireplace !   I made a few bouquets in the morning then we went for High Tea at the Standing Stones with the all our family! Finished off with a few wines at my granny’s was the perfect end!

The rest of the weekend was pretty busy making Cupcake Bouquets for some lovely mums and of course because I’m nuts a minion, spiderman and a 60th birthday cake were thrown in there too! My mum had seen some hydrangea cupcakes somewhere and came to me thinking they would be nice in my bouquets – so I decided to add some in! I’m glad she had seen them because I really liked them actually! I think they are here to stay 😉I also decided to run a little competition over on Facebook – folk nominated people they thought deserved a little treat! It was lovely reading the nice things people had written about their mums/sisters/friends/mums to be and midwives! I even got a nomination myself which was nice!

Viv nominated her 93 year old mother because she is still going strong, amazing, and Viv hoped she might share some cupcakes with her – this is the bouquet she won….
